A Non-Profit Transforming Waste into Resources Menu

Work at WasteCap

The WasteCap mission is infused in its employees and volunteers. WasteCap team members practice what they preach through the work they complete on-site and projects.

Operational Waste Management

WasteCap member Busch Systems, provides containers for office and warehouse use to ensure proper disposal of waste to landfill, recycling or compost.

Educational Field Trips

Throughout the year, WasteCap team members take educational field trips to continue their education and increase their awareness of topics pertaining to sustainability, the environment and waste reduction.

Walk the Talk Meetings

When appropriate, WasteCap encourages employees to conduct walking meetings to enjoy fresh air and time away from screens.

Workplace Garden

WasteCap’s garden and compost provide vegetables and encourages the team to spend more time outside. The garden also serves as a gathering place for employees to chat and unwind after the workday.

Spending time with coworkers in a non-work related setting allows for time to get to know each other, which makes a team stronger. That is why WasteCap members organize regular social gatherings. Previous gatherings include: garden bonfires, annual grill out and lunch break board games.

Volunteer Events

WasteCap annually volunteers at events like Rock the Green, Doors Open Milwaukee, Near West Side’s Farmers Market and more to continuously support the Milwaukee community.
