WasteCap completed a yearlong project providing third party waste management and salvage services for the School Sisters of St. Francis.These services resulted in the diversion of 25,000 tons of construction materials from the demolition of six buildings.
In order to reduce flooding within the area, the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District drafted a flood management plan that required the removal of 83 structures. WasteCap was contracted as the project's deconstruction consultant.
WasteCap identified salvageable materials, provided training, oversaw material removal and trained contractors on WasteCap TRACE. Though the project is ongoing, the team has surpassed the original diversion target of 85% and is tracking towards a rate of almost 92%.
When GMIA began the renovation of its baggage claim area, WasteCap was employed to provide Construction and Demolition Waste Diversion Consulting.
