A Non-Profit Transforming Waste into Resources Menu

Emerald Evening Recap 2018

This year's annual networking, fundraising, and member appreciation event was hosted on Sept. 27, 2018 at LVL in historic Walker's Point. Over 100 guests enjoyed food generously donated by local favorites Ian’s Pizza, Fuel Café, Hamburger Mary’s, Ambassador Hotel, and From Scratch Catering. And with all of the raffles, door prizes, and giveaways throughout the night, we don’t think anyone went home empty handed!

Together we celebrated this year’s accomplishments, including the launch of our new retail division, Razed & Found. Razed & Found offers deconstruction services, do-it-yourself event workshops, and operates a retail store that sells reclaimed building materials. Its primary mission is to preserve Milwaukee’s rich architectural history, which supports WasteCap’s vision to transform waste into resources.

We also announced a capital campaign to raise funds for Version 2.0 of WasteCapTRACE. TRACE has proven to streamline the recycling tracking and documentation process for your construction or demolition projects. The new version would add features and functionality that make data collection, analysis, and reporting simpler than ever.

Thank you again to all of our members and partners who rely on WasteCap to provide waste reduction and recycling assistance for the benefit of business and the environment. Check out our full list of 2018 Emerald Evening sponsors.
